Asia shares seek calm, dollar rush causing stress

MSCI#39;s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan firmed 0.6%, while Australia#39;s beleaguered market rose 2.9%. Japan#39;s Nikkei went the other way and dipped 1%.
